Meet HomeStretch Staging and Design

My name is Martha Louise, formerly Bowles, and I am the owner and Designer of HomeStretch Staging.

As a little girl, I had a love affair with an orange chair that started the whole thing. By high school, I had the coolest bedroom of all my friends and by college, I was working in theatre on sets and costumes.

From there, I headed into real estate, and after paying my dies for a very long time, I finally opened my own staging company, and enjoy being my own team, my own boss, and making people smile.

Founded in 2017, HomeStretch Staging is the brainchild of Martha Bowles, now Martha Van Garza.

After staging one of her own listings, and while cleaning the counter, Martha said “We are almost done, we're in the home stretch!”

And there it was. homeStretch was born.

In her years of staging, she has staged for HGTV as well as the Wayfair catalog. She was awarded Top Ten New Home Stagers by the Real Estate Association for 2018.  HomeStretch has created model homes, Air B and Bs, and even built a salon in a bar during SXSW for a product launch. 

A happy newlywed, she is branching into film, film sets, and set design. Nothing can stop her!
