Hi! I'm Martha

I'm the owner of HomeStretch Staging.

I’ve been in love with design since I was a kid obsessed with a bright orange chair. By high school, I had the coolest bedroom of anyone I knew. By college, I was building theatre sets and costumes.

Fast-forward: 15+ years as an Austin Realtor and many more in the rental industry, taught me how to make a home pop in photos and sell for top dollar. In 2017, I launched HomeStretch Staging—named after the moment I said, “We’re almost done, we’re in the home stretch!” when staging my first home as a Realtor and furiously scrubbing the sink. I feel like I still have pruny fingers.

Since then, I’ve styled for Wayfair, and model homes to creating film sets for SXSW, Hallmark and HGTV. What a ride!

“Walk and Talk”

We create a more “saleable” version of an already lovely home. We will provide a detailed plan of updates, clutter removal, organization, and streamlined decor plus helpful lists for Seller showings. We find the beauty in the current decor and modernize, accentuate, and streamline to show the home in it’s best possible light.

We provide the Seller with the concepts they need to declutter, pack, start to emotionally separate from the property, and get on board with the moving process and become part of the marketing team for their home sale. This one time visit provides the Seller with a finite list of tasks and an easy to follow code for what to pack and what to leave.
